The remote of the CDX-454RF use Radio Frequency Technology, and that's one of its most important point.
:Great product.
It was pretty simple to install and I have had no problems since installation. I never had it skip and I have driven down some very bumpy roads. Also it works great you just pick a radio station that you like then leave it there on that station. I would recommend this product to anyone.
