:SHEER POWER!
True to its denomination '1600 WATTS', it really makes your subs jump like hell. I have no hesitation in saying that it is one of the most powerful in its class, the reason why i'm so confident of this amp is because I have this amp in my car powering my 2 pioneer12's. Before buying this amp I had a lot of doubts because I was told by my friends not go for a sony, but after I read it's reviews i couldn't wait to get a hand on this amp. Please! Don't have any second thoughts on this one, its one of the best things that can happen to your car audio.
Pros: Clear and powerful bass, reasonable price and durable.
Cons: None
:Amp has lots of power
This is a very decent amp. I'm not really a Sony fan but I have to give this amp a 9.5. I had a 15 inch volt hang which rms stated 600. I decided to wire it up to 2 ohms which was a mistake because an hour later I blew the sub. Most amps lie about their wattage but not this one. I also decided to hook this up to a 15 inch eternal audiobahn which was 1300 watts rms and i was even beating this sub out of its cone. At 2 ohms there's no limit to this amp. Just goes to show this amp really will beat at 1600 watts. Even at 4 ohms u can get 7-800 watts out of this amp easily if not more. Good job Sony
Pros: Very clean sounding, expect a lot of power out of this amp at 2 ohms
Cons: Keeps blowing my subs :)
