5 Thumbs Up :Sony speakers WOW.

I bought these speakers to go in my corsa, my first car and my first project! I was impressed with the factory speakers but when I installed these babies, it truly pimped my ride!

Not only does it give clear sound, it gives a really good base vibe!! I am really impressed with these speakers!

If you are looking for something simple, easy to fit that gives a really good sound, these are perfect for you. If not, I still think they are a good buy, considering the price!!!!

    WELL DONE SONY AND THANKS!!

5 Thumbs Up :Go on, have a read

Forget about how many stars I gave them because I’ve got nothing of similar spec to compare them to.

I got these speakers to replace the standard ones found in my Clio and the difference is huge. Ok, so they won’t cut it when placed next to higher spec speakers but for 20 notes you shouldn't be complaining. Good points are that you get at least 2.5m of speaker cable (at a guess) for each and these are going to be long enough for anyone's use. Also, the sound quality has really improved in radio broadcasts, but not in mp3's through the Sony head unit (all at 128k and above).

Couple of things though. The brackets that come with them for fitting to the door panel were useless by themselves. I had to epoxy resin them to hold them in place because they're either too wide or my door skin is too thin. Either way it was a messy job but it only took a couple of minutes to bond. From then on you're laughing. What I would first recommend for fitting in the same car again would be to run a 3mm (or smaller probably) drill bit through the brackets already in and then the longer screws might work without any probs. Anyways, bonding the brackets in place has ensured a really tight fit. The only problem I have now is that the new grills don’t exactly cover the old door hole so there's a tiny gap but it doesn’t bother me because you can’t see it unless you look. Just to be aware that this might happen for you too. Last thing, just remembered that when fitting them the + and - terminals are REALLY flimsy and the push on terminals on the cable is tight. This ensures a tight fit but don’t hook them up and take them apart too much because I reckon it might snap and then you'd be in trouble. At a guess the 17cm speakers would be the same so I don’t know if I'd want them in a parcel shelf that I still need to take out regularly.

4 Thumbs Up :An electronics & photo fan

These speakers are Sony and are far the best so far......at such a cheap price it can’t be beat and the sound that comes off them is amazing. I used them in my car and there much better than the speakers I had before.
