 :A lot better than factory fitted speakers
These three way speakers separate the sound to make the music less muddy. Improvement in the lower frequencies is more subtle, but definitely there. The separation is most noticeable in the middle and treble frequencies. As a consequence, the sound stage was dragged slightly down to the floor. This was easily corrected by fiddling with the equaliser, as I have factory fitted tweeters in the dash. If you don't, this may prove a MINOR problem. Having said that you're likely to have this problem with any new three or two way speakers fitted near the floor. For me it is a definite improvement upon the original, dual cone, paper factory fitted speakers. My only grumble is that the wire mesh grill was dented, not due to bad packaging, hence only 4 stars. Fortunately, I didn't need the grill, but if I had, then I'd probably feel a little miffed.
