I bought these speakers as replacements for the 10" woofers in my 10+ year old Advent Legacy II loudspeakers. These Sony speakers are perfect replacements because they have the same frequency response and greater power handling than the originals. As an added bonus, these Sony XS-L1000B woofers have screw holes that perfectly fit the existing holes from the original speakers. Replacement was a snap and took less than 15 minutes.
